Amado Martinez, 92, was born on July 17, 1932, in Richmond, TX., and went to be with his “Lord & Loved Ones” on December 19, 2024.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of E.P. Compean Funeral Directors, LLC., on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 2:30pm. The family will be welcoming friends and family @ 2:00pm.
Amado is preceded in death by his daughters, Sharon Sifuentes and Brenda Martinez; his granddaughter, Amanda Martinez; his grandson, Alan Putman; his parents, Trinidad and Josefina Martinez; numerous brothers and sisters.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 72 years, Vivian Martinez; his sons, Gilbert G. Martinez (Cheryl) and Amado Martinez Jr. (Linda); his daughters, Margaret Torres (Largo), Mary Ann Arevealo (Michael), Veonica Freeman (Michael), Victoria Martinez and Karen DeLeon (Anthony); 30 grandchildren; 79 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loved ones.
