Bernadine Coufal, 89, of Beasley, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday November 16, 2019. She was born March 26, 1930, in Burton, Texas to the late Rudolph and Alma Jaster.
Ms. Coufal was a housewife who dedicated her life to her husband and children, whom she dearly loved. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, baking and gardening. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church where she attended services when her health would allow for the last several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 44 years Lee Roy Coufal, her children, Herbert Lee Coufal, Margie Lynn Coufal and Patsy Lee Coufal; her siblings Emma Sabrsula, Ralph Jaster and Estelline Jaster. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Lynn Coufal of Beasley and grand-puppies Toby and Bella Rose.
A visitation will be held on Saturday November 23, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church (6320 Rohan Rd.) Rosenberg, Texas beginning at 10:00 amwith a celebration of her life at 11:00 am with the Rev. Ben Gardner officiating. Interment will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery following the celebration and all are encouraged to meet at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mario Garza, C.J. Martinez, Jr., Bradley Coker, Allen Dick, Roger Reaves, and Jeff Fringer.
Brenda would also like to thank Mrs. Coufal’s wonderful caretakers at Reliable Oaks Assisted Living Facility in Needville, Texas but in particular Elizabeth Williams. Mrs. Coufal received excellent loving care from Elizabeth and her staff until the Lord called her home.
