Blasa C. Paiz

Blasa C. Paiz, 69, of Rosenberg, Texas, was born Feb. 3, 1948,

in Mathis, Texas, and went to be with her Lord and Loved Ones on Sept. 14, 2017.

A gathering will be held for her friends and family between 7:00pm- 8:00pm, on Mon., Sept. 18, 2017, at Church of Living Waters, 4808 Airport Ave., Rosenberg, Texas.

A funeral service will be held on Tues., Sept. 19, 2017, at 10:00am at Church of Living Waters, in Rosenberg, Texas.

Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, in Rosenberg, Texas.

Blasa is preceded in death by her mother, Jesusa Vega; grandson, Michael Dylan Paiz.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Atanacio Paiz; sons, Rodger Paiz and wife Lucy, Randy Paiz; daughter, Sandra Paiz; grandchildren, Kassandra Bijarro and Shelby Paiz; great grandchildren, Jaxon Bijarro, Joshua Bijarro and Kayleigh Radford; sister, Chris Soto; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and many other loved ones.

Blasa was very passionate about her family and her faith in God. She dedicated her life to helping others. Even from her hospital bed, she was making sure people were given food after Hurricane Harvey. That was her heart. She believed in being God’s hands and feet. She loved making crafts and gardening and collecting angel figurines. She and her husband Atanacio repeated their wedding vows every year on their anniversary. She looked forward to watching the Gaither gospel hour and she found much joy in her faith. Her family was her priority and is her legacy.
