Carlotta Janik

Carlotta Danette Janik, 66, of Guy, TX., was born on Jan. 13, 1951, in Hawaii, and was called to be with be with her “Lord & Savior” on March 30, 2017.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Sat., April 8, 2017, in the chapel of E.P. Compean Funeral Directors. The family will be welcoming friends at 10am.

She was a loving, thoughtful, caring and very strong minded person who enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, her cats, listening to her albums, and her time with her family and grandchildren.

Carlotta is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Lewis; siblings, George Marigmen, Loretta Schwartz, Paul Marigmen, Dennis Lewis, Beverly Lewis, Brian Lewis and Roberta Lewis.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Mark Janik; children, Lieutenant Commander (USN) Bobby Page Jr. and his wife Lieutenant Commander (USN) Michelle, of Virginia, Sarah Morales and husband Lupe Jr., Adrian Page and his wife Julie Shelton and Mandy Janik; grandchildren, Brian Abourezk and fiancée Olivia White, Private First Class (USMC) Kristen Morales, Asharae Morales, Cody Shelton, Justin Morales and Ezra Page; siblings, Patrick Lowe, Carolyn Sanchez and Sam Lewis; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loved ones.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Houston SPCA or the American Lung Association in Carlotta’s name.
