Gregg Givens Wallace, 58, of Missouri City, Texas, passed away on March 24, 2026, at his home. A celebration of life will take place at River Pointe Church – Missouri City (7057 Knights Ct, Missouri City, TX 77459) on April 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Gregg was born to Benjamine Wallace and Gretchen Giles on January 26, 1968, in San Antonio, Texas. He grew up in Beaumont, Texas, later graduating from Lamar University in 1990 with a degree in Dietetics. Gregg went on to have a remarkable career in medical sales for over 35 years, becoming a well-known and loved personality in the Texas Medical Center and beyond. Gregg had an extraordinary gift for people – he simply never met a stranger. Anyone who was fortunate enough to cross his path in work, at church, or just in the neighborhood quickly found themselves with a friend for life. His passion for Christ and his excitement for his family always seemed to be at the top of the conversation.
Outside of work, nothing mattered to Gregg more than his relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It was hard not to find Gregg at church without a Road Crew shirt or his all-too-bright yellow Parking Team shirt, a safety vest, and his stop sign. Gregg placed his wife Rachel and their sons Benjamine, James, and Caleb, as his top priority, second only to his relationship with Jesus. Throughout his life, Gregg sacrificed his time and professional development in order to be present and active in raising his boys alongside Rachel, embodying the words of Proverbs 22:6 (NLT), “Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.” Weekends were spent coaching at baseball or football games, and Friday nights always found him helping the marching band pack up for football games.
Among his greatest joys was hunting and spending time with his family in the Texas Hill Country at the “Hacienda” in Uvalde County, Texas. It was here that Gregg was truly at home – teaching Benjamine, James, and Caleb the ethics of hunting, spending time with his wife Rachel in the beautiful blue waters of “The Quince” and the Nueces River, and making memories with lifelong friends who were more like family. Gregg spent many evenings sitting by the fire ring recounting lengthy stories, spent afternoons with his sons having paintball fights in the valley or playing Cops and Robbers with the fourwheeler, and seemed to always be eating SweetTarts in a deer blind.
Gregg is survived by his loving wife, Rachel, their sons, Benjamine, James, and Caleb, his siblings, Jennifer Ogilvie (Jim) and Stephan Giles (Rodnie), his mother, Gretchen Giles and his mother–in–law Michele Lombardo.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, a sacrificing father, and a loyal friend – a man who lived his faith out loud and loved his family without reservation.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to River Pointe Church, where Gregg had served since becoming a member in 2013.
