Guadalupe Avila Meza

Guadalupe Avila Meza, 75, was born on Dec. 12, 1944, and went to be with her “Lord & Loved Ones” on Jan. 17, 2020.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of E.P. Compean Funeral Directors on Thurs., Jan. 23, 2020, from 5:00pm to 7:45pm with a rosary being prayed at 6:30pm.

Graveside service will be held on Fri., Jan. 24. 2020, at 10:00am

At Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, in Rosenberg, Texas.

Guadalupe is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Pilar Meza; granddaughters, Aubrey and Khloe Tovar; brothers, Isidor Meza, Albert Meza and Ignacio Meza.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Martinez Jr. and life partner Karen Mendoza, Lucky Martinez and wife Cecilia; daughters, Sylvia Martinez, Veronica Martinez and husband Mario, Victoria Alfaro and husband Michael Tovar, Maria Linares and husband Ricky; sisters, Rita Leal, Rachel Meza, Ofelia Meza and Rosa Meza; brothers, Francisco Meza Jr., Felipe Meza, Paul Meza, Lorenzo Meza Sr. and Raul Meza; 25 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; along with her nieces, nephews, friends and other loved ones.
