Guadalupe “Lupe” Reyes Huron

Guadalupe “Lupe” Reyes Huron, 64, of Needville, TX, was born on July 1, 1956, in Richmond, TX, and went to be with her “Lord & Loved Ones” on November 5, 2020.

Lupe R. Huron is preceded in death by her parents, Luis Reyes and Lupe DeLuna; brothers, Louis Reyes and Raymond.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Daniel Huron and Elizabeth Rodriguez; grandchildren; Kalel Rodriguez and Jorel Rodriguez; significant other, Jud Philips; brothers, Rueben Reyes and wife Bernie, Eulalio Reyes and wife Gail, and Manuel Reyes; sister, Carol Reyes and significant other Calvin Kovar; along with 4 nieces, 2 great nieces, friends and other loved ones.

Lupe gave everything she had to her family. After her divorce, she worked long hours at Texas Instruments to ensure her children  had food to eat, a roof over their heads, and anything else they needed to thrive. She worked even harder to ensure her kids never saw the struggles she endured. She was a key figure in her grand children’s lives. Whatever they needed or wanted – toys, care, love, kisses – she was the first one to offer her time or money to turn those wishes into a reality. After the passing of her parents, she assumed the role of family leader. She was the glue that kept the family together, who brought people together for birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions. She was the one who made sure the family home was whole and full of love.

Lupe was a Loving Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister, and Friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
