Hugo C. Gonzalez

Hugo C. Gonzalez of, Damon, TX, was born on July 16, 1929, left this life to be with his “Lord & Loved Ones” on September 19, 2021.

Hugo Gonzalez is preceded in death by hisfirst born daughter Otila Gonzalez, brother David Gonzalez and parents, Bartolo and Ester Gonzalez.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Fabian Ivar Gonzalez, wife Margo Ann and their son Gabriel Ivar Gonzalez; daughter Roxanne Gonzalez; along with numerous other family members, friends, and other loved ones.

Hugo was born and raised in Los Arrieros Texas. He attended Roma High School but left prior to graduation and volunteered to join the U.S. Army. He was a veteran of the WWII and Korean wars. He joined Inland Steel in E. Chicago Indiana and retired from one of itssubsidiaries, Ryerson Steel in Houston Texas with over 30 years of employment. He and his wife returned to Starr County Texas andranched for close to 20 years before choosing to retire from that life.

​Mr. Gonzalez was a Loving Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
