Irene Herrera Guerrero, 70, of Rosenberg, Texas, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior on February 3, 2026, after a life well lived and full of love. Born on May 25, 1955, and raised in Needville, Texas, Irene was a woman of deep faith, unwavering strength, and endless compassion.

Visitation will be held on Thurs., Feb. 12, 2026, from 10:30am to 11:00am. A rosary will be prayed at 11:00am followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:30am at New Hope Church, 1130 7th St., Rosenberg, Tx. 77471.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ricardo Guerrero; her parents, Manuel Herrera and Vicenta Seecamoor; and her in-laws, Jimmie and Juanita Gonzalez. Irene now rejoices in heaven with them, leaving behind a legacy that continues to live on through the many lives she touched.

She is survived by her loving children: Coreena Guerrero; Desiree Peña and husband Manuel; Gina Vega and husband Rick; Crystallynn Guerrero; and Selena Guerrero. Irene was a proud and devoted grandmother to Brianna Hernandez, Rick Hernandez, Desiree Chapa, Janie Guerrero, Jimmy Estraca, Jeremiah Guerrero, Christopher Estraca, Ricardo Delgado, Emily Delgado, Ellyana Delgado, Zachariah Delgado, Levi Delgado, Saul Vega IV, Ricky Vega, and Dominic Peña. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Brandie Mora, Jaden Mora, Catalina Mora, Lilanna Garcia, Zylah Vargas, and Aliana Guerrero.

She also leaves behind her dear siblings: Eladio Herrera (wife Andrea), Rosie Arredondo (husband Richard), Estella McGill (husband Jerry), Manuela Arroyos (husband George), and Frank Herrera (wife LaVonne), along with countless nieces, nephews, spiritual sons and daughters, and cherished friends.

Irene was a faithful and deeply loved member of New Hope Church, where she served the Lord with passion and joy. As the church’s longest-standing member, she was cherished by her church family. Her life was marked by a deep love for Jesus, a steadfast dedication to prayer, and a heart for others. Whether encouraging someone through a difficult season or lifting her voice in worship, Irene radiated God’s love in everything she did.

Her memory will be treasured, her faith will be remembered, and her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire generations to come.
