Joe N. Galvan

Joe N. Galvan will be lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Joe leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and cherished memories that will continue to live on through the generations of his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Galvan; his sons, Jose Galvan Jr. and wife Delana, and Abel Galvan and wife Melinda; and his daughter, Iris Galvan.

Joe also leaves behind his three beloved grandchildren, Gabriel Galvan, Danielle Galvan and husband Gilbert Rodriguez, and Dominique Matthews and husband Steven Matthews; along with his three precious great-grandchildren, Mia Gonzales, Mason Rodriguez, and Hattie Matthews.

He is also survived by his sister, Amelia Hernandez, and sister-in-law, Natalie Garza, as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends.

Joe’s memory will be treasured by those who knew and loved him. Although his presence will be deeply missed, the love he shared, the memories he created, and the legacy he leaves behind will remain a source of comfort to his family for generations to come.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of E.P. Compean Funeral Directors, 1223 Sixth Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471, on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 from 4:30pm to 8:00pm with a rosary being prayed at 6:30pm. 

Interment will be held at WOW Cemetery in Rosenberg, TX on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 10:00am.
