Jose Liendro

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose Liendro, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who departed this world on June 10, 2026, at the age of 78.

Jose was the son of Jesusa and Guadalupe Liendro Sr., both of whom predeceased him. On February 14, 1985, Jose wed the love of his life, Wanda in Rosenberg, Texas. Together, they built enduring partnership that spanned 45 years.

Jose's life will be honored and celebrated at Grace Baptist Church, located at 6320 Rohan Rd, Rosenberg, TX 77469, on July 11, 2026. The service will begin at 11:30 AM, where family and friends will gather to remember the remarkable man who touched so many lives.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Memorial Hermann in Sugarland for the exceptional and compassionate care they provided to Jose in his final days. Their kindness and dedication gave comfort to Jose and his family during a difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Jose’s memory to St. Jude, a charity close to his heart, ensuring that his spirit of giving continues to make a positive impact in the world.

Jose Liendro will be profoundly missed and forever cherished by all who had the privilege to know him. His spirit lives on in the hearts of his beloved wife Wanda, their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a community that was enriched by his presence. May his memory be a blessing and his life an inspiration to us all.
