Martha Estorga Garza, 81, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be held on Tues., July 16, 2024, from 9:30am to 10:00am at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 410 Clay St., Richmond, Texas 77469. Rosary will be prayed at 10:00am followed by a funeral mass beginning at 10:30am.
Martha was born in Sugar Land, Texas on May 24, 1943, and raised her children in Richmond, Texas. Martha spent her life caring and giving to others and was a devoted sister, wife, friend, grandma, and great-grandma. Martha enjoyed surrounding herself with her family, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Martha loved to laugh, travel, and keep up with her novelas. She was also a lifelong member of Saint John Fisher Catholic Church. As a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother she will be remembered for her generosity, being a confidant, and for her ability to always make you feel loved.
Martha is survived by her children, Elizabeth Garza, Connie Marroquin and husband Jimmy, George Garza Jr., Steve Garza (Suzanne); grandchildren, Stephanie Lamza (Marc), Kristina Shorter (Lawarren), Cory Garza (Nichelle), Jonathan Cruz, Christopher Marroquin (Megan), Felicity Garza (Devin), Colby Garza (Jace), Ericka Daily (Nico); her two sisters, Elvira Provost (David), Patricia Lery (John); along with 17 great-grandchildren.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, George Garza; mother, Bruna Estorga; grandson, Andrew Garza; brothers, Sunny and Rudy Astorga; sisters, Gloria Perez, Lucille Astorga, Mary Ann Hernandez, and Rosemary Ramirez.
