Nancee Marvin

d. July 7, 2021

Nancee Marvin, an Adjunct Professor at Wharton Junior Community College and Texan by choice passed away unexpectedly on 7/4/21 while at home.

Nancee was born in September 1951 in Michigan, daughter of William (Bill) and Mary Schultz. She married Burt Marvin in Lowell, Michigan on June 26th 1971, dedicating her life to being the best wife and mother she could be, exhibiting the light of Christ to the world around her.

Along the way she became a licensed teacher, graduating Summa Cum Laude from University of Houston – Victoria; received her MBA from Texas Women’s University; demonstrated elite seamstress ability; phenomenal skills in the kitchen, able to cook and bake incredible meals with flair – whatever the needs at the time. Nancee’s skills also included being a licensed cosmetologist and a shrewd negotiator. Nancee possessed a God-given talent for healing hearts, skinned knees & elbows, and was one of the most giving people this world has ever known.

Nancee is survived by her husband Burt, son Jonathan, brother Steven Schultz, mother Dixie Schultz, sister Tracy Schultz Dye, and by all of the children and young adults who knew her as “Mom” throughout her travels and tenure with us.

Nancee, you most certainly graduated from this life with the highest of honors. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
