Oscar V. Luera

Oscar V. Luera, 84, of Richmond, TX, was born on November 4, 1936. He left this life to be with his Lord and loved Ones on June 30, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 507 4^th St., Richmond, TX 77469 on Saturday, July 17, 2021, with Mass at 10am.

Oscar is preceded in death by his parents, Maximo and Victoria Luera; brothers, Armando Luera, Lucio Luera, and Erineo Luera; sisters, Ninfa Gutierrez, Pauline Huerta, Olga Hernandez, Ignacia Franco, and Eufemia Palacios.

Oscar leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 57 years, Elvira Luera; sons, Jaime Luera and his wife Maria and Javier Luera and his wife Susie; daughter, Veronica Torres and her husband Jesse; brother, Maximo Luera; sisters, Adriana Hernandez, Minerva Guerrero, Frances Banda, and Domitila Elias; 6 Grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loved ones.

Oscar was a barber in Fort Bend County for over 40 years and loved serving his customers. He was a jokester and was the type of person who never met a stranger. Oscar was a Loving Husband, Father, Father-in-law, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
