Rickey Darrell Perez “Paul Vargas”

Rickey Darrell Perez “Paul Vargas”, 64, of Rosenberg, TX, passed away peacefully on October l7, 2018, surrounded by his family.

​A memorial service will be held in the chapel of E.P. Compean Funeral Directors on Sat., Oct. 27, 2018, at 1pm. Family will be welcoming friends at 12:30pm.

​Rickey “Paul” served in both the Army and the Marines. He was a hard worker and a good friend to many. There was nothing he couldn’t do or wouldn’t do for anyone who needed a hand. He was a man of all trades, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

​He is preceded in death by his parents, Connie and David Vargas; his sister, Grace Vargas.

​Rickey “Paul” is survived by his sons, Manuel Perez, Steven Paul Perez and Elias Perez; his daughter, Alma Perez; brothers, David Vargas, Larry Vargas, Eddie Vargas, Pat Vargas and Carlos Vargas; sisters, Rachel Ortiz, Linda Rojas and Gloria Cantu; along with other loved ones such as cousins, nieces, nephews, numerous friends, including a special, loving and dear friend, Diane Perez.

​ Each day we shed a silent tear as we speak to you in prayer to let you know we love you and how much we care. Take our millions of teardrops, wrap them in love, then ask the wind to carry them to you in Heaven above.
