Rufus P. Segura

Rufus P. Segura, 83, of Sugar Land, TX., was born on August 10, 1940, and passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. 

         A viewing will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 10:30am to 11:00am with a rosary being prayed at 11:00am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:30am at Saint Theresa Catholic Church, 705 St. Theresa Blvd., Sugar Land, Texas, 77498.  

         A rite of committal will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd., Rosenberg, Texas, 77471.

         Rufus is preceded in death by his son, David Segura; parents, Santos and Margarita Segura; brothers, Joe Segura, Guillermo “Willie” Segura, Domingo Segura, Francisco Segura and Antonio Segura.

         Rufus is survived by his loving wife of sixty-two years,  Janie Segura; sons, Anthony Ray Segura and wife Michelle, and Richard Rufus Segura; daughter, Cynthia Ann Carmona and husband Henry; brothers, Ignacio Segura and wife Rosemary, and Jesse Segura and wife Lisa; sisters, Aurora Segura and Esperanza Gonzalez and husband Oscar; 4 grandchildren, Presley Erin Segura, Lyndsey Rose Segura, Evan Hunter Segura and Camille Elizabeth Beil; along with numerous nephews, nieces, friends and other loved ones.
