Yolanda Barron, a beloved soul whose heart beat with the rhythms of South Texas and the love of family, passed away on April 23, 2026, in her hometown of Port Arthur, TX. Born on July 22, 1971, Yolanda’s life was a beautiful melody of devotion, joy, and warmth that touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.
From her earliest days in Port Arthur, Yolanda carried with her a vivacious spirit and a deep appreciation for the music that stirred her soul. She especially loved the lively sounds of the South Texas Homies band and Banda music, which brought rhythm and light to her days. Her joy was not limited to music alone, for she adored her loyal fur baby, Benji, whose companionship brought comfort and happiness to her life.
Yolanda’s family was the center of her world. She is mourned deeply by her loving brother, John Aguilar, and his wife, Leticia; her caring sister, Mary Lugo, and her husband, Eduardo; and her sister Rose Jackson. Their lives had been enriched immeasurably by Yolanda’s presence, her kindness, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. She is also remembered with tenderness for those who have passed before her: her devoted husband, Pedro Barron, her father, Santos Aguilar, and her mother, Adelina Lopez.
The community will have the opportunity to honor Yolanda’s memory with services held at E. P. Compean Funeral Directors in Rosenberg, TX. The visitation will begin on April 29, 2026, at 9:30 AM, followed by a rosary at 10:30 AM. The funeral service will commence at 11:15 AM, concluding the formal respects paid to a life that influenced many. Yolanda will then be laid to rest at Guy Cemetery in Guy, TX, in an interment starting at 12:45 PM, where her spirit will rest amongst the gentle embrace of Texan soil she so loved.
Yolanda Barron’s journey was one marked by love’s profound expression—not only in her connections to her family and friends but also through the music that echoed through her heart and the faithful companionship of Benji. Though she has left this world, her melody lingers on, a touching harmony woven into the fabric of those she cherished and those who cherished her.
She will be remembered with enduring affection, her life a testament to the power of love, music, and family. Yolanda’s memory will forever be a soft light in the hearts of those who loved her, guiding them in quiet moments of reflection and timeless celebration of a life beautifully lived.
